Lisa has always loved all kinds of music, but has had a passion for worship music since giving her heart to Christ 23 years ago. She plays guitar and piano, and feels like she's "living the dream" playing in Impact's worship band. Lisa and Bob have 5 grown children & 1 new granddaughter. Besides playing her guitar, Lisa enjoys gardening, the beach, walking, and biking.

Rachel grew up in North Carolina and moved to Northern Virginia in 2016 for her career in Tech supporting the Department of Defense. She met her husband Troy in 2020 and started attending Impact church together through Pastor Terry’s introduction, and they now serve together on the praise team! She is an avid lover of coffee and good food so she decided to serve on the hospitality team to provide the Impact members and guests with refreshments and help everyone feel welcome and energized. On most days you can find Rachel hanging out with the fur babies, LJ, Luna, and Mowgli at home or shopping and trying out new food spots around DC
Kids Ministry Team Leader
I have always had a love for children and am so thrilled to be serving the children of Impact Church. I have a master's degree in social work and plan to use this degree to serve the children in our community. I am blessed to be able to use my love and talent with children to serve the kingdom. When I am not working with children I am at the gym or doing something outside. My ideal day is spent in the sun out on the water..preferably on a boat.
Women's Group Leadership
Raised in the Hampton Roads area, Ashley relocated to Northern Virginia in late summer 2015 for a job as a family law paralegal. She was introduced to Impact Church through a friend and immediately found a church home. Her job in the secular world has provided her the opportunity to share the love of Jesus to people in some of the hardest valleys of life.
Throughout the years, Ashley has had a desire to see the women of Impact Church and surrounding communities be connected—with Jesus and with each other. Connection with Jesus comes through reading His Word, praying, and being in community with other believers. She enjoys teaching Scripture to others and learning more about Jesus daily.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading, journaling, and weightlifting, but please - no cardio!
Global Outreach Team Leader
Natalie was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. While attending a Christian school and church throughout her youth, she was introduced to many missionaries and their work around the world. She loved learning about different cultures and people that God created. In addition to her interest in the world around her, Natalie loves kids! She taught elementary school in SC for 8 years before moving to the NOVA area. While in Virginia, she has worked a variety of jobs - all involving kids.
Natalie became a part of Impact Church in 2018, and it has truly become her family. They helped her through some difficult times before God led her to the mission field in Kenya. She spent time living in southwest Kenya from 2021-2022. Upon her return to the states, Natalie's heart and passion for local and international missions has remained steadfast. As the Global Outreach team leader, she is able to connect with and share about the various ministries and service opportunities that Impact is a part of here in NOVA and around the world.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys traveling, running and exercising, watching Clemson football, and hanging with her friends.
Tech Team Leader
Rusty has a long history of military and Christian service in his family. His dad retired from the Army and his mom comes from a family of African missionaries. As an Army brat he got the opportunity to live all over the US and in Korea. He ended up continuing the tradition and joined the Air Force and transferred to the Space Force when provided the opportunity. He hoped that would give him a better chance to use that Aerospace Engineering Masters he suffered through.
Rusty was blessed to meet his wife on the job while launching satellites. Ask him about it sometime; he loves to tell the story. He is a passionate geek who enjoys video games, building computers, and growing his understanding of Christ.
